Default Bad Day!

Today I had jury duty and when I was pulling up to the parking garage the lady in front of me pulled in to the wrong entrance when I was behind her and when she realized she went to the wrong one, she threw it in reverse and I started honking and yelling and BAM! Damage isn't bad, just needs a new hood and front grille, but damn I was mad And to top it off, I didn't even get selected for a jury so it was a wasted trip. At least it was her fault so everything will be taken care of by her insurance. It just sucks that the one day I leave my bubble of going to work and home, I get hit.

Oh well, stuff happens and it could have been worse. Sorry Lexi

That sucks. I would of put my car in reverse to avoid her hitting me. Thats of course if no one was behind me.

GFM is a hard color to match.

Make sure you take it to a really good body shop.

That really blows! Was it an old lady? Glad to hear no one was injured and like you said that expenses will be covered.

I tried to throw it in reverse, but it was too late. It was a Mexican Lady, 38 yrs old. She was cool about it and admitted fault.

If they let me, I will probably take it to the Lexus dealership. I'm really worried about the paint not matching...

You pick the body shop, not the insurance company. You choose whatever shop you want to no matter what they say. It's your right!

Awesome, I think I will have Arrowhead Lexus do it since I would trust them the most and I could get a Lexus loaner I would hope Lexus would take good care of it since it is a lease.

Sorry but you wont get a lexus loaner, you'll get whatever the insurance pays for. I recently got hit by a girl when she backed out of her driveway. I just dropped it off today and they gave me a chevy malibu as a loaner. Man that car is a piece of crap

Yeah, the dealer doesn't actually do the repair work. They contract with a body shop they work with. So the end result is that you'll still just work with that body shop and the loaner car your insurance "might" provide.

Also since the other driver was liable you have the right to choose where you want it fixed. The other insurance company kept trying push their "in network" shops on my but I went w/ my dealership, they have a collision center.
