A familier face in a see of unkowns...
So i was cruising around one of the bmw's forum's (kill section) and came across a 335 vs is350 thread, man i could'nt believe all the is350 bashing? it was an old thread (over a year old) anyways as i was scrolling down reading along and something caught my eye from the bottom left of the screen? it was "caymandivers" flag, fluttering in it's all mighty glory! to me it was like seeing a "lexus logo flag" i had a huge grin on my face, it was like seeing a familier face in a sea of unknowns? i'm new here myself but have been lurking for the last year, so i am familier with "caymendiver" and his posts. he sure made me feel proud to own an is350! i know this is a random post but i just had to share...below is "caymendivers" response to a post made by a bmw member.....................................................................................

I don't think it would be that close. Iirc the IS350's that run 13.5ish@104 were modded lightly (spare tire & some other stuff removed). Stock IS350's should run anywhere from 13.7ish - 14.0 and trap just over a buck.
335's will run mid 13's more consistently and trap 105+. Plus, 350's dyno at around 265ish stock. We've seen 335's dyno at 275ish & putting more torque down as well.
BMW's are consistently pigs off the line. They race much better from rolling starts.
"caymendivers" response>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> You telling me that by removing 20lbs from the IS350 will cut 2/10's off in the quarter mile!? The reason I say this is because nonE of the mods available for this car have proven to gain any more than 5hp with an intake and maybe 9hp with full true dual exhaust.
