I have the same perception about my 250 (545miles on it). I can feel any bump, and imperfection on the road and the sport ride is not there when I need it. It just dives at hard braking and lean and roll when cornering. My previous car S60 T5 02 with Bilstein shock handles way better and smother that this new car. With that kind of mileage I not too hopeful things will get better so I’m trying to live with it.

I'm typing with a broken right hand, so I'll make this as brief as possible.
My IS' ride quality has become a headache. It feels sloppy over road imperfections. It clomps over potholes and stumbles over expansion joints, rattling all the while. I have Luxury Package w/ 18" wheels. I hate to sound dramatic, but the last Accord I drove handled rode imperfections more gracefully than this car (not to mention my friend's A4 w/ 19" wheels).
Anyway, not sure where I'm going with this, just wondering if anyone else is distracted by their 2IS' ride quality and if there is anything that can be done about it.
This quote from C&D (in reference to a BMW X3) basically sums up how I feel:
Thanks.

The shorter wheelbase has something to do with that as I felt that my 330i also had a chopppy ride.
I've found that the all season Michelins seem to give a smoother ride versus summer Dunlops...but you're giving up some handling in the corners.

I have the Tein CS as well and my car drives oh so smooth and quiet. If I feel like I am going to be in the mood to drive spirited or I want sport handling I turn the adjustment ***** a couple clicks, takes about 2 minutes. I couldn't be happier with my coilovers.
