Snow Trip Today
Funny thing I noticed, Bend OR has a BMW, Mercedes, Audi, and even a Porsche(!!!) dealer but no Lexus dealer. Have only seen one other IS over the past three days, but this is the land of RX's.
You guys ever have a problem with too much snow/ice build up around the wheel wells? Its starting to **** me off because I can't drive thru a single day without the snow build up rubbing against my tires...and it effects the handling/steering too when it rubbs. Is a trick to prevent this?

It's actually FUN to drive in the snow. I wish it would snow more actually. Kinda of adds a little bit of excitement to my commute (I'm not stuck in traffic ever). When there is a lot of snow, I usually see at least a couple of cars in the ditches to and from work. Last snowfall, I saw a lifted Jeep Wrangler stuck in the ditch... I was thinking of pulling over and helping him out - but I didn't want to damage my car. Wouldn't it seem odd to see an IS350 with a chain/rope pulling a lifted big-wheeled Jeep wrangler out of a ditch?
I agree, it made a routine trip for work into a new adventure. I was watching the weather all morning. Now I am looking forward to many more snow adventures. Fortunately thanks to the snow tires we made it through some pretty deep snow that lasted about 50 miles, cruised on through at 40 mph. A few hours later there was a fatality accident from two cars that hit each other.
