Get some basic transportation for a few years (like a Corolla or Camry) and build up your savings, then shop for a Lexus. Just my opinion from what you have said.
My car allowance from work pays the car payment plus some in my pocket.

I was just caught at a bad time.

I spoke with a sales guy he was no help, my sales lady called, and I told her I was already shopping around, Infiniti and BMW both had my attention with 0 down. She said she would call me back within the hour.

In order to avoid the 5k and get into a new car without any down payment. Currently building a house and funds are pretty tight.

I have to accept a DEMO, which has 2800 miles and was driven by my sales lady, an older lady. Smokey Granite in Color IS250 AWD with Navigation.

I previously had 07' Is250 base model totalled at 12k miles. wo/ navigation.

Whatcha think? Shop around, or take it?

^^ Sounds like a good deal in the long run. 9K less mileage and navigation added! If you need a car you can't be too picky. Just make sure you are happy with the SGM color. A bad color choice will HAUNT you

Holy crap that's one heck of a story!

First, I'm glad you and your friends are okay. You can replace cars, but not people.

Next, you don't say how much the sale price is of the new IS and while I would probably take the demo - it never hurts to shop around.

Good luck and keep us posted.
