The CTS is the best looking Cadillac in ages. The first and only one I would ever have considered owning. That being said, if I was buying today I think I still would have purchased the IS 350.
The original poster mentioned that he drove the CTS with a Northstar engine. There is no Northstar for the CTS. The Northstar is a more powerful (320hp) and smoother engine.

550hp. It will outhandle the M5 and at the same time, drive softer over bumps. Most people are expecting high 11s in the quarter mile.
