I went to HIN last weekend and i disconnected the negative terminal on my battery but when i connected it my windows roll up and down but only from each window. The buttons on the drivers door dont work except for the drivers window. And the others go down and up but they dont auto roll. Does anyone know of a reset or should i try to take the positive off the battery or just bring it to the dealer.

 

yep, roll down and up all your other windows with their own switches.

This must be one of the most asked questions ever...

Does anybody know why the windows do this? Is it some saftey or security reason? Or just dumb engineering?

There are many other settings that don't get reset..why the windows? Or maybe Microsoft has a legal claim that Windows always require a reboot
