Default IS350 vs GS350

According to Lexus:
IS350
HP: 306@6400 rpm
TQ: 277@4800 rpm
CR: 11.8:1
WT: 3527lb

GS350HP:
HP: 303@6200 rpm
TQ: 274@3600 rpm
CR: 11.8:1
WT: 3795lb

I think the IS is under rated.

You know, I've been starring at my monitor for 10 minutes now simply trying to figure out how to reply to this post. In the end, I can only think of one thing to say...

Im just taking a wild guess.... I think he is saying he feels as though IS350 is equivelent to the GS350. GS350=IS350 but the Is350 is under rated so it
Gs350 greater than or equal to IS350. Wild guess...

The 2GR-FSE for the JDM is350 is rated at 318hp. We in america have those new SAE hp rating guidlines, which is why if you look at the hp ratings from the 2005 corolla and the 2006 corolla their different even if its the same engine...

So yes, the is350 and probally every new car is underrated.

Is it me or does the GS350 remind you of the Nissan Maxima on the exterior? I test drove the GS and it just didn't have that "fun factor" vs. the IS350.
