Hi sanjo, welcome to Club Lexus
You'll definitely want to browse the FAQ's for the 2nd Generation IS thread, which will answer many of the questions you may have in shopping for your car. One of the links on that page includes this thread, which contains discussion about insurance costs for the 2IS. Hope this helps,
Javier

As for the OP, the easiest way to estimate it is to, well, get an estimate. Fill out information at one of the insurance websites or call them directly to get a quote.
Pretty much every insurance policy I looked into when I was under 25 had a rather hefty premium just for being under 25, even though I had been driving since 16.

Heres a simple list I called:
All State
Geico
Progessive
State Farm
AIG
Liberty Mutual
Nationwide
Travelers
Call everyone, give them your info, and keep a list. Make sure you have all the same coverages for each (don't change options), that way they are quoting you the same for each.
That's the best way. Like everyone has mentioned, it depends on accidents, tickets, etc etc. If you own a home, or can pay in full (6 months), you save money. Every company is a little different, so do your research.
