Default annoying warning buzzer

so i guess i have an OCD thing about cleaning my windshield with the washer fluid every now and then. I just HATE the warning buzzer that seems to go off every minute when the fluid is low. Its not like the car is going to die without washer fluid.

anyone have any other annoyances?

It wont go off every two minute or so if you do the following:
as soon as the light come up, keep using the washer from 4 to 8 times and the light wont go on and off again,it will stay on till you refill the tank or turn your ride off. the light will come again obviously when your turn the car on again.
you might ask your self why you should do that and what cuz it from the first place?
What is happening is that your tank is not comlately empty, its just started to be.so the sensor tells the computer that you need to refill and the computer turn the warning on,but as soon as you drive faster abit or you press break at once or so,what happen is the water inside the tank move above and below the sensor line, which will tell the computer you dunt need te refill at all(you still have enough),so the computer turn the warning off. but as i said the water inside the tank move up and down many times which cuz the warning to go on and off like that.

However, when you do what i told you to do,we will be using that water,so it is not around the sensor line any more,so when the car move or stop..etc, the water do not go above that line, and the computer will still think that you still need to refill and the warning will stay on with out any buzz till you refill.

Sorry for the longggggggggg speech

how about just filling the washer fluid to the top when the warning goes off...

if u dont want sensors on things like that for convenience, buy an old car with over 100k miles on it, preferably one that the owner admits none of the warning lights work. this way when your engine is in trouble it wont ding or do anything that would avert your attention

i don't know why everyone is giving me crap about it. its went off on me during a roadtrip. its not a hassel to fill it up, but it gets annoying hearing it going off. i even had the radio turned up and i could still here it.

This happened to me on a loaner GS I had when my car was being serviced. I filled her up with water to shut her up.

This is insane--if you have low tire pressure, it only beeps initially, then stays on the waring light. Why would you have to go thru all this for low washer fluid??

Would disabling the seatbelt buzzer also disable this?

If your tire pressure increased and decreased repeatedly, you would go through the same thing. The sensor isn't smart, it just knows if it's wet or not. If the level is close/changing, then it's going to go off each time the low washer fluid condition occurs.

that the only way to stop the beeps, otherwise go to the dealer and ask em to disconect the washer fluid warning sensor off. personally ,i would say get used to it
