how is my bulb going out if i only have had the car since july? it could have been dull from the start though.

Because the bulb is defective. It happens. Get the technician to figure it out. It's under warranty. You're wasting your time here because no one's really going to know unless they look at your car and everyone's just making guesses. I know it's not what you want to hear, but talking/complaining about it isn't going to get it fixed. The fact is that it's flickering. It's not supposed to do that, so there's a problem.

Maybe it's the bulb. Maybe it's the ballast. Maybe it's some electrical wire that's loose. Maybe it's a problem with the lighting harness. Maybe it's a problem with your car's entire electrical system. Maybe it's a problem with the alternator. Maybe a bug got stuck inside the housing during the manufacturing process and keeps bouncing around when you hit a bump and it looks like the light is flickering.
