i was looking at this last nite..... If you fix it with all used parts that you find and have the time to piece it together it mite be worth it. Im still trying to talk my Dad into buying for me to fix up.... so far the answer is no...
For 12k it might be worth it.
Has anyone given any thought to an IS350 engine into a AWD 250?
12k, you could get all the parts you need and part out the balance of the car to buy all your performance upgrades while the motor is out. Then just drop into the AWD 250...
300 or 400hp with AWD would be a nice road car.
Just a thought.

Hmmmm... this is a good plan but i don't think you can throw the the IS350 engine into the Is250. you would have to tranfer more than the engine and maybe do some custom fabrications
the damage doesn't look bad......although VSC trouble codes could indicate trouble.....
also wierd no airbag delpoyed
big parts easy and cheap to find.....it it the little nick nacks that kill you e.g. clips, plastic parts...shift ****....etc....
also depending which state he inspection is done....fixing the frame can be pain......defenitly frame damage...although the rails look ok from the picture
roll the dice....buying a salvage is always a gamble
