I don't understand why you would put the transponder on the sunroof glass???? I hope you delete or edit your post from the transponder thread, so no one has to go through this again.
I've had mine there for over a year and haven't had any problems with it. Maybe it depends on the size of the transponder.

I got a ticket the other day for not having a properly mounted fastrak transponder. The cop was on the 73n at the toll booth. My transponder was sitting on my dash. This idea might not be the best of things to do in case you get a fix it ticket like me.
