hey me and a fellow my.is member are going to trade his HKS hi-power exhuast for my stock plus $$$$$... what i need to know is about how big of a box do i need (inchs = length, width, and height) and about the average total weight of the box (LBS)...
when you guys recieved your hks exhausts, how did it come in?? separate boxs or one big box?? please let me know asap because this needs to go from california to miami and the stock exhaust from miami florida to california.....
The stock exhaust is really big, and would probably cost hundreds to ship. The only way you'll be able to ship the OEM exhaust is if you either A) build a huge crate, or B) cut it into pieces (like the HKS exhaust).
ya, you'll need a reallly big box, i had to get my friend with a RSX to come get my exhaust for me when i installed my tanabe cause it wouldnt fit in my car. after shipping n the money ur going to put up as extra, it might be more worth it to find a local seller and pick up a hks from him. or...ROAD TRIP! haha good luck man
I used to ship exhaust systems.. and it would run about $40-$50 on the average to ship .. I got boxes from U-Line .. but I think they are bulk purchases only..
how much is the approx weight... the fedex guy told me hes gonna hook me up with his discount today at work so all i need is the measurements n weight...
