Is this a good deal?
First off I would like to thank everyone for the wealth of information I have acquired from this forum over the past several days.
I'm about to special order an IS350 Black Sapphire Pearl/Sterling with Luxury Package, Nav/ML package, and rear spoiler.
Below is the offer and I wanted to get your opinions:
$1000 deposit
$389 doc fee
$4000 off MSRP
Thanks,
Mike

Very good deal. Suggestion...> Print out Edmund's report on the car you want, negotiate a price, GET IT IN WRITING, ask to see that the order was placed. 4k off MSRP is about $1,500 over invoice, which is a good deal for a special order IS350. While you're at it, you may want to consider additional items such as ground effects, G-Spiders... and negotiate that at the time of your purchase. Another suggestion...> Edmund's gives us the invoice on each item. Meet the dealer half way between invoice and MSRP on each item. Of course they install the items. Good luck!

That's a heck of a deal on a special order no less....here in the Dallas area I'm told that dealers aren't willing to discount much at all. I'd sign up for that deal in a heart beat.

I pulled the trigger!
Got $4200 off MSRP + free trunk mat for a total of $4269 off MSRP!
Dealer has already faxed me a copy of the invoice with negotiated price. Once he receives my deposit for $1000 he is going send me confirmation of the order to Lexus.
I really like the G-Spider wheel, but I decided to wait. I thought I could do better by selling the new finish '08 wheels and buying the G-Spiders from Sewell Lexus at a later date. My first purchase will be the Tanabe Exhaust. Thanks Droptopgal for all of your informative pictures of your mods and car on previous posts.

BTW... Nice to know that my past pics and posts have helped you. Over all, CL is a good community and wealth of knowledge.
32k for a NEW 07 IS350?! Wow! Did it have carpet? Must be bone stock with no options. Oh, I just re-read, only AFS. Still, what a deal. Those options sure do add up, don't they guys. I paid well above 32k, but I am fully loaded and then some.

My special order IS350 finally made it to the USA!
I received the following email from my salesperson yesterday.
"Your new Lexus has definitely made it into the Jacksonville port. It is now in the trucking process. They are now showing a dealer ETA of 3/3-3/6 which just showed up today. So it seems to be moving right along. I'll let you know as soon as it hits the ground, and I'll check on that daily."
So if all goes well I will be picking it up on Saturday!
I've already got the Tanabe, JoeZ, HKS filter, Sport pedals, and Redouts in my shop waiting to be installed.
