Default Anyone Else Having Problems Finding Used ISX50S?

I am just curious if anyone else is as frustrated as me when trying to find a nice Used 06Is? I have been searching for 2 months ,and it seems as though Im always a day late to find the one im looking for. I missed a 06 with 35k navi prem for 25k in Arizona. I just missed today a 06 is250 awd navi 38k for 26k. I need to find something soon Im tired of driving my 94 altima as a beater. The websites autotrader.com and cars.com never seem to have the car listed when I call , are their any other webistes to search?

I kind of wish Lexus didnt have so many packages for the Is, I am tired of finding an is and its the base base model with nothing on it. I'm still shocked it doesnt come standard with Hid. My last 4 Acura's had hid standard.

Three of the reasons I bought new were

1) There weren't a lot of used ISes around at all.

2) None had the options I wanted

3) The few used ones I saw were barely any less than a new one would cost me

Well guys I think I found one for me, Its a 06 Awd 28500 miles Hid for 25k . Its not the color I want but under the circumstances I dont care.

This has been one helluva task!! I never looked this hard for any car. I think it took me this long to sell my 04 TL as it did to find my Is.

Agree 100%. I wanted the Luxury Pkg, and it was hard enough to find that NEW. The only one I saw on cars.com was about $300 cheaper than I paid new, and was 150 miles away, in a color I did't want.

I saw some stupid Hyundai dealer posting a used IS (don't remember if it was an '06 or '07) with 17,000 miles for MORE THAN the MSRP for the car, as it was equipped.

You probably could haggle most of the dealer-sellers down from their ridiculous asking prices.

Interesting thread. I guess I got lucky. I had a BMW 330cic which I was trying to sell privately. I spent several hundred dollars advertising it, got it detailed, smogged, and got little to no response (mostly brokers and insincere lowballers). Anyway, out of frustration and on somewhat of a lark, my wife and I stopped by the Lexus dealer in Thousand Oaks, CA. They had 2 ISs - a 250 and 350, both silver. When we started negotiating with the idea of trading the bimmer, we were so far apart that I shook the salesman's hand and started to leave. He told me to sit down and that he would do whatever it takes to get me that IS350. I ended up leaving with the 2006 IS350 (15k miles CPO) at wholesale KBB, 5.99% financing and they gave me $500 less than my current asking price for my bimmer. I realize a base/premium is not the most sought after trim level (most of you want the Nav package) so that might explain why I was able to find one so easily. Good luck with your pursuit.

I was lucky to get a premium with NAV/Birds Eye/XM/HIDs. Having ML would have been nice but that is nearly impossible to get where I am.

There are many in my area. Weeks after I bought mine used I found another one selling privately. It's loaded, probably the most expensive packages you can buy. It had 10k miles with ML, Nav, radar detector, part assist, everything. The guy was asking $36k but he seems desperate.

2008 into 2009 you'll start to see certified, used ISx50s. Most leases are for 24 to 36 months. People will be trading their 2006 IS leased car. Since the ISx50 came out in 2006, Lexus dealers should have used ones on their lots soon.
