Don't forget that we have Nanny cars.

Just make sure everything is secure before you leave.

WTF, chimes are good. They remind you of the things that you are probably not aware of.

yes, that's pisses me off too.

so annoying................ which is why I'd like to just disable it.

I'm reading up on how to get rid of the overly aggressive seat belt beeping.

i can tell you how....take the seat belt from behind the seat, buckle it and just leave it like that at all times.

well the problem is I actually do wear it. I just don't get it on till the end of my driveway sometimes, or the end of the work driveway.........or friends driveways. lol

it's a tad too aggressive.

So I guess there's no solution for the stupid beeping if you open the door before turning off the car?

What if I don't want to turn the car off, just get out, get something and get back in. No need to have it beeping at me!!!

There's no way to stop it for good, but I've gotten used to doing what Gernby mentioned and just press the door pin switch when I hear that chime. It's the black rubber nub right that detects whether the door is open. You don't have to hold it down, just hit it once and the chime stops.
