Default high beam(DRL) help!!!

yeah so i decided to make some light modes for my car after reading the threads..and for some reason the DRL is not working but the high beam is...could u guys give me some help ...thanks alot

ermm..i didnt do any major mods yet..well ill share anyways..hi beam(7500k artic white)..hid kit(8000k)..fog(4000k)...tanabe medallion exhaust... spoiler.

oh and rims and dropped coming soon...just still debating on wat kind of forged rims to get..im thinking of the essen iforged...or the triump.

but yeah i need some help with me DRL situation...HOW COME ITS NOT WORKING ...only the freaking high beam...wat can i do HELP PLZ!

Question, how do you know the DRL isnt working? Did you, start the car, put it in drive, put it back in park then get out to take a looky?

well as you know i always have my light on as automatic..and its night time rite now...so i turn of the all the lights ....and of course the DRL light should turn on automatically.
how do i know that cuz..i test it out on my girlfriends lexus. and hers is working fine cuz hers is the stock one.

did you install a HID kit on the high beam or you just changed a bulb???

i just changed the bulbs...
just curious..ur not going to use the high beams..why would u want to convert it hids?

my dude... when u get a chance... switch the light **** from off one up.... put the car in drive and press the e-brake) and go out and take a look... it should be on (car is on btw, and do this if night time)..... or if its day time just turn it to auto **** while the car is on and just get out and take a look

I really hope you didnt put the car in drive and put the ebrake on... with it still in drive....

That's setting yourself up for the darwin award. lol.

DRL mean the 194 bulb? If so you might try to see if you put it into the right way for my PIAA LED I always put them into the wrong way + to - -to + haha

DRL = 9005 bulb
Parking lite = 194 bulb
