Tint in here (PR) is not just for the look; ...you really need them during the whole year... it's a must. Also I like the 18's cause they are a lot easier to clean, and in my opinion they look better than the x-package (It's a matter of taste).

Dont forget its a BASE mdl too... I mean PR isnt really that far from da mainland like us in Hawaii and we only have Servco Lexus... ALSO how much to ship a car from da mainland to PR? $43k is kinda... alot for a base 250.

I assume PR dollars are USD right?

Llamaboiz, the problem in here is that taxes are very high (tax + luxury tax are about +20%)... plus Lexus, MB and BMW just have one single dealer in the island; so if they the car is $42,995 USD you have to pay what they ask for. So I try to buy it in the mailand but when the car arrives to the port the taxes are even higher to "protect the dealer". Believe me it really sucks! For the money I have spend I should have a 350 loaded. If you want the 250 with x-package it cost around 46K. And if you want the package that brings the regular 18's it costs around 50K, because it only came this year with the loaded 250. Other thing is that NOT all options or models came in here; just the ones Toyota want to sell. In overall IT SUCKS, but I love my IS. CarlitosPR can confirm this facts. I think the 600h is about 160K maybe more.

lbpanky its correct. We only have one dealer per luxury brand but we got like 500 for any other brand. also the tax bracket depends on the list price of the car and its goes as high as a 40% of the price in taxes. I paid $39,995 for a base model and there its a couple of grand less in the price cause i know almost every manager in the luxury car dealers. PS. Its Puerto Rico everybody know someone who know someone and its keeps going and going!
BMW cuote me $81,900 for a 335 convertible so its pricey to look good in here but it can be done.
