If your kit is anything like mines, if you look at the OEM plug you will see that its labeled + -, but the only thing is, is that its opposite. You have to put - to + and + to -. Make sense? Trust me I was like that too, and I figured hey worth a shot and voila! it worked!

Wow.. Thats a dangerous move ISuxel. Mine was straight. Plug plus to plus and neg to neg. Maybe you need to upgrade your fuse racinghard

The + and - are indeed reversed. At least they were on mine also.

You have to actually remove the wires from the kits plug, and swap them. All you need is a small screwdriver to pop the pins.

Pretty sure you need the male connector.

After some searching, I found a place with female sockets.

On Ebay, there's a kit that includes wires, that you could just pull out. Like 10 bucks.

I thought the OEM was male and the one from the kit is female?

And Boy, the Supras I think were the same and possibly the IS300's.

You can shave that little bump in the middle of the plug with razor blade or something. w/o that little bump, it still won't be loose.
