4 months is an insanely long time. I wanted more options in my 250, but i didn't want to wait a few months for them. I ended up getting a car on the lot, which is fine with me (saved me a few bucks honestly).

 

So is it safe to assume by doing a special order, the savings won't be as much as getting one off the local dealer lot and/or an incoming to the local dealer?

 

It'll be about the same as long as you settle in on a price before hand.

1) Ordered my special order.

2) Waited 2 months & 3 weeks.

3) Driving home exactly what I wanted, was PRICELESS!!

Try dealing with a Local Internet Sales manager... Let them know exactly what you want and exactly what your willing to pay over dealer invoice on your special order...

It shouldn't be too hard to get what you want...
You just have to find the right person willing to help..
