Default Drove up a curb...

So I clipped one when I was parking a few weeks ago... I looked for damage and didn't find anything so that was that.

Today I went to wash her and I saw that there was a little damage. It's not bad at all, could've been worse. The reason I'm posting these is that it looks to me like it might just be that two separate pieces of plastic have come apart. The line is perfectly straight and right in the centre of the car... could there be an easier fix than redoing the whole bumper then? Glue it back or something?

I did the EXACT same thing with the EXACT same damage. It's really not that bad and hard to see unless you are looking. Yes that front lip is split like that and it will bother you seeing the drivers side piece tucked under. However, other people wont even notice it.

Here's what I did. I went into the classifieds on this forum and posted a WTB:Stock SGM Lip (not the x-packag) Considering a lot of people on here have after market lips they usually have their stock one laying around. They will be glad to get an extra 40 bucks for something that was just laying around anyways. I say 40 because that is what I paid. Brand new they are like 125 a piece or something lame like that.

^ Great advice, thanks a lot!

Would I be able to apply the lip myself?

i pulled up too close to one of those parking blocks and i ended up ripping out part of the lip. the 2 parts of the lip is held together with one screw. just unscrew it and line em back up again. some is' have come from the factory with misaligned lips (looked much worse than yours). it's an easy fix.

looks like the lip split in two, just get another front lip, they aren't that expensive.

yeah very easy. Try what Ultimax99 said first. Then see if gsrhomas will send his to you in canada if you pay shipping and throw in 40 bucks.

IS350, all the lips are split. It's just to what degree. The lips are very expensive in my book. YOu are going to spend over 350+ shipping to get both pieces. 125.00 for one, and thats a lot to me.

the screw is in the middle.

Damn if my car was dark I'd just leave it even... can barely see it on white.

I'm glad to see it's an easy fix... might just try to realign my own lip. I have no problem picking up someone else's lip and I'm sure I can work out the shipping, but the thing is it's bound to happen to me again... lots of weird driveways around here.

Maybe I'll wait and see if it happens again and then get a new lip...

Thanks all.
