I am interested is this product but I heard that VAISTECH have removed the aux input on it. Does anyone know if installing the original SLi or SL2i product will remove the factory aux input located in the center console.

I really need an additional input besides my ipod. If it does not then the SL2i seems like the right choice.

there are different emulation modes to program the vais module for. as long as you program the vias module to act like an mp3 changer (instructions come with it, its easy) it will act like an external cd changer and leave full functionality of the aux input.
