Default Lexus customer service

Seems nowadays everyone complains about how badly they're treated everywhere, those of us that get good service just are content and don't talk about how well they were treated.

In an effort to stop that trend I wanted to tell everyone how well I was treated at Lexus of Seattle today. Over the weekend somehow I got a 2 inch long by 1 inch tall scuff mark on my front drivers side panel. It looked like someone carrying something just dragged it across my car. Now realistically it wasn't a deep abrasion mark, but it was enough to make a dull mark in the otherwise shiny surface, so in the sunlight it looked like crap. I drove to an autobody shop today to see how easily they could buff it out, they said it wouldn't be a very hard process and would cost between 50 and 75 bucks. This made me pretty happy in itself, thats not too much to restore the car back to the way it was. I then drove to the Lexus dealership to see how much they would charge for the same thing, not that I didn't trust the other place, but I'd like to be able to hold someone accountable if they were to mess up, from my experiences the dealership has been nothing but professional.

So... they looked at the mark, asked for the keys, and drove it off. I waited in the lobby watching a movie they had playing, and before I could even get comfortable they had my car ready. Upon inspection? Absolutely perfect! Upon asking how much I owed them for the job... the reply back was nothing more than a confused look and telling me that its free, they seemed just as happy as I was to see my car back in great condition.

Thank you Lexus!

You are quite right!! Not enough people posting the good treatments too.
I have been getting the same TOP NOTCH service from Lexus of Tulsa.
They even let me change my LPS(Lexus Personal Settings) a second time at no charge.
My loaner has always been ready and waiting for me and when I go to pick up
my car I'm out of there in 5 minutes.

Edit: corrected my dyslexic moment

Although I've only had my new IS for a week, and haven't had any service needed yet, one of the reasons I bought it is knowing that Lexus is known for providing good service to their customers. Of course there will alway be those that have issues that aren't resolved to their satisfaction. Compared to the other car dealers that I have dealt with over the years, I have been very satisfied with my inital experiences with Lexus.

It is the little settings of your car, i.e. how long before the auto headlights turn on, how bright it has to be before they turn on, do you want only the drivers side door to open when you use the handle or all of the doors etc...

Contrary to a lot of people on here, I actually got good service from Longo Lexus when I went in for my 5k. The rep told me that a high estimate would be 2-3 hours (I was a walk-in, 2nd in line @ 7am) and I was out in about an hour and a half. No wash of course

Don't feel like a newb, the poster had a dyslexic moment. It's LPS, which stands for Lexus Personalized Settings.

Cool - I figured it was something along those lines...

So the feature is similiar to the C-Best Options found on earlier Lexus Models..
