Autobox when cold

Autobox when cold
Hi,just registered here.
Although this seems to be a mainly North American forum,I'm in the UK.
Wondering if you could answer this question.When cold the autobox on the IS250 changes upto 5th gear,no higher,It only changes to 6th after 5-10 mins when the car has warmed up?

Thanks,I didn't think I was imagining it.I've only had the car for just over a month,it's the SE-L spec.The only things I don't have are the moon roof and the multimedia package
