Dumb question. Does air from outside pass through cabin filter.

Dumb question. Does air from outside pass through cabin filter.
Just what the title saids. Does outside air pass through the cabin filter before it hits the vent? I find my cabin filter to be extremely dirty. I had my car for 8 months. I let outside air in the cabin at from time to time when my passenger complains how cold the AC is.

You know you can adjust the cabin temperature.........It's those two buttoms located near the center of the console....

You know you can adjust the cabin temperature.........It's those two buttoms located near the center of the console....
