No I didn't... I rarly play regular cd's and don't play DVD's at all. So the features of being able to browse MP3 albums and not being locked out of the phone is more important. Would I like for everything to work? Absolutely! But until that happens, I'm stuck like this...

 

has anyone been able to fix this problem? replacing hardware, reversing nav hack, anyone know a solution to this serious issue??

 

Did anybody ever definitively pin this to the nav hack or not?

 

My '06 IS 350 does this every once in a while and no nav hack has been done. It's happened with store-bought CDs. The dealer says they can't reproduce the problem so they haven't done anything to try and fix it.

I have got this same problem. i had the nav hack installed for 2 years and this just happened now. i did just recently install an amp and subwoofer that shorted out my fuse so i'm thinking it might have to do with the fuse.

has anyone found a solution for this yet?

 

I am having the exact same CD player issue, just started last week. It was intermittent for a few days then just stopped working altogether when playing a CD, ie CD is playing a track but no sound and volume control does not work. Anybody ever find a fix for this problem yet?

No mods done to the Nav unit/Levinson stereo system.

 

Fixed by banging on tranny tunnel on passanger side near nav unit. This issue is due to a bad connection somewhere.
