I'm 6'2" and about 182 and it feels comfy for me. The only thing is that I scoot my seat not all the way but a little far back so no one can really sit behind me. But if I need to I'll scoot up and still feel comfortable driving.

I'm 6'2" ~230 lbs with a 33" inseam. People sit behind me just fine unless they are my size as well. The car does not feel small to me, but then I don't care for the SUV cavern effect either. I'm used to cars that wrap around me, and I've never felt the need to have more room. Also, I've driven the car 26 hours straight (solo road trip from Sacramento to Dallas) and not felt uncomfortable.

Most of the taller people I have spoken to about fitting in the IS have all said its surprisingly accommodating.

I am 6' tall and am about 240 lbs. The front seat is very comfortable. Only a small adult and/or children would want to sit behind me for more than a short drive. Our household consists of my wife, myself and our two young (4 year old and 1 1/2 year old) children, and everyone loves the car. Unless you like to play chauffer, I wouldn't be too concerned about the interior space.

At 5'11", 225 lbs., I find it very comfortable, once I'm in. Getting out is sometimes not easy for an old guy, but not bad. I also drove about 26 hours from Vegas to central TX once, at the end of a trip to Montana and back, and I was totally comfortable (but almost asleep on arrival).

I'm only 5'11 155, but I did take my bro and his two friends (all college bball players) around for a day and they seemed to be pretty comfortable. They were all between 6'4-6'6 and over 200 lbs. They probably would not have enjoyed a road trip, but it was doable.

you got that right .. i rather feel a car thats warm and hugs you all around instead of a suv with wide open insides that feel like a damp cave instead

The OP should still of course do his own sitting and driving. Comfort is a pretty relative term, and hopefully the takeaway from this thread won't be that the interior is "big" by any definition.

I find that the driver actually is more comfortable than the front passenger because his outside shoulder is on the steering wheel, thus doesn't need to rest somewhere. The high beltline and snug fit of the car means the front passenger has to scrunch his shoulders a little bit... or am I the only one that thinks that?

6'2" and 185 (and about 36 inseam), very comfortable for me, but I wouldn't want to be the person trying to sit behind me. Like CWS above, getting in or out for us chronologically challenged citizens can be a bit of a chore, but once in it's a great vehicle and easy to drive long distances.

if the roof was another inch or so higher, it would be great. It's comfy as it is, but that woudl help tremendously

6'1", 175 lbs. as far as fitting in the car, I can fit in it just fine. I cannot fit in my own back seats as my feet don't fit under my front seats. As far as driving the car, its pretty comfy, but my left knee tends to cramp and get kinda sore after 30min to an hour.
