One of my best friends just bought an M5 in Hong Kong... fantastic car. Is it the SMG or the new stick version?

 

Im not sure what "new stick version" is, with this car, you can let it do automatic or smg.

Ooo I see. I remember when the M3 first came out, it was only SMG and no auto mode.

 

Very nice, my stepdad has one in that weird silver/blueish color. Don't drive the M too much, it'll make your 350 feel slow.

dont forget to press the M button it unlocks it all Lol=) whell that is after you set it to what you want it to unlock

Lucky!!!! How does the M5 feel when driving? I have heard there are many ways to program performance. Have you managed to pin it down to what works best for you. I am going for the new M3 next spring when my lease runs out. Love the IS but am disappointed with the rattles and other noises….seems to be new ones each week, plus would like to get into a coupe. My neighbour has a M5 and I drool every time I see it in his driveway….without a doubt the most awesome sedan out there….enjoy.
