Angry that day has came, but way to soon.

hello everyone. we all know that one day our IS is gonna get hurt one way or the other, regardless of how hard you try to baby it. well mine came a couple nights ago when i was backing up and grind against a white van. and....

afterward me and my friend looked at it and he told me that a buffer should be able to take most of it off. i was wondering if anyone here know to to get rid of the scratches? also does anyone knows the color code for the 07 IS tungsten pearl? thanks.

Bondo scratches? I don't think so. You must run a body shop that wants to sell this guy a repaint after he hoses it up

Here is what to do:

Stop by a good body shop..They have the tools, know how, etc to buff most of it out. Get a couple estimates (there free).

If they blow you out of the water try something like Meguiars Scratch X

now as far as the scratched rim, dont know what to tell you there, check to see if there are any rim shops on the area that repair wheels and can refinish that wheel.

Check Craig's list in your area...you might find someone selling their stock wheels after going aftermarket...Might not be able to get a single on however

anyway to the orig poster ----
just try some cleaner wax (not a polishing compound) and try to remove the white paint by hand.

Good luck in fixing the damage. It is a relatively easy fix; it could have been much worse...
