Default Lost key

I know this has already been asked, but I searched and couldn't find it. Well my girlfriend had my spare key and she lost the black part of it, I have no idea how but she did. And my question was how much am I looking at to get my fob and car reset, and a new spare?

I've got a spare remote for sale if youre interested. Brand new uncut and unprogrammed will run you like $125? I think.

Mine is in excellent condition. You will have to get a new key cut though. and program.

I have two covers black and white.

Let me know if you're interested. Make me an offer if youre interested.

Give them a call. I have no clue. They will charge for a key, but some dealerships might be nice enough to reprogram for free, say on your next oil change or something.

You won't like what you hear from the dealer.
I nearly had to go through this when I swapped out my SC. They wanted $200 for the Key and $150 to program.

They ended up throwing it in for free as I was closing a deal on a 2nd car an IS250AWD

Tell the girlfriend to pay for a new one or you dump her. Just kidding.

You got one of those metal tags that identifies your keys when you bought the car. Simply go to the dealer to get a replacement, but they may ask you for the metal tag.

Lol yea she acually said she'd pay for it, and she acually still has the metal part of the fob so I won't have to get a key cut, just reprogramed. So will it really cost $150 to get it reprogramed even with the metal tag.

it just depends on your dealership of what they will charge you. Mines did it for free and gave me a new fob for free :P
