ML amp problems
So I'm having the known problem where the amp from time to time will shut off and you get no sounds from the stereo or anything. Few minutes later, back on everything fine. I was finally able to show this to the dealership and they said they'll order some parts. My first question is there a TSB for this and my second question is it truly the amp (which one) only?
What I don't want to happen is the dealership to start replacing the stereo and other components trying to troubleshoot if this is a known issue and we can pinpoint the problem to the amp. When the stereo plays, it plays just fine so I want to keep all the good parts....can someone point out the definitive post/thread that I can printout and take to the dealership?
Thanks.

I have this problem too and have pinpoint it to the CD that I was playing. It was one of those CD-R's with a label on it. The ML stereo simply doesn't like these types of CD's. I've noticed that it doesn't happen to any type of other CD's. I told the dealership this and they just simply said don't play any of the CD-R's with labels on them. They refuse to even look at the amp or anything.
If there is truly a TSB out on this, I'd like to see it as well.

thanks. any other suggestions? am i the only one who's radio goes out once or twice a week for about half-hour? i could have sworn this was a known issue and a fix was posted (but i can't find it). need help before i go to the dealership next week, don't want them to pull my whole stereo system lol.
I just had my amp go belly up (no sound at all ever) and now dealer is quoting $1100 to replace. My SA said that this is a problem seen with the ML amp and non-ML never has an issue. I have a call into Lexus to cover since my warranty is out by 4K miles. Wish me luck
