Default Whats up guys.. just droppin in

Whats up fellaz...I was recently In the market for an 07 IS350, G35S, or 335I. I ended up going with the 07 Gg35S. Nothing against the lex i just wanted a manua transmission. Besides that being that I am leasing for some reason the lexus leases were crazy high.T he beemer was a lil small and not crazy about there interior, there lease prices were similar to the G though. Overall your cars are hot..I was just very curious about something. I noticed on drag times that IS350's with like 2 bolt-on mods are doing low 13's to 13 flat at like 105 mph. How is that even possible lol. Ive seen them in mags doing high 13's and even one mag stating 14.2. Granted I believe the car is a high 13 sec car all day, but how are you guys gettin such low numbers?

I actually had a run in with one on the belt parkway in brooklyn that was modded...dropped, seen his exhuast, yellow fogs (assuming he also had an intake). At high speeds my car was actually pulling on him. At around 50-60ish we were pretty even. My car is a bone stock 07g35S 6mt with a fujita dual intake.

Keep in mind guys i didnt post this to bash your cars cuz i think there dope. But those number really blew me away lol.

I originally narrowed it down to the Infiniti G35 vs Lexus ISxx. WIth the G35, it's much, much cheaper and I would've got the same performance as the IS350 for nearly the cost of an IS250, lol. In the end, it came down to the name, reputation, reliability---and that spells Toyota all over.

How? pull the spare tire, 1/4 tank gas, skinny ppl drivin, increase front/lower rear tire pressures, retard the timing, take out the seats and sit on a box... you know the normal stuff

I guess you have to own one to find out...just kidding. Basically, the IS350 is good for 13.6-13.7 in the 1/4 mile stock if traction control is turned off, 1/4 tank of gas and maybe without the spare tire. Members of CL are pulling those numbers without much trouble so I guess it is a mid to high 13's car.

yea i def here that....and i have no doubt believing the car can pull mid to high 13's...but 13 flat with a few minor bolt ons (which i know do almost nothing to N/A cars) is insanity lol.

congrats on your purchase. I would of chose the G35S as well, but all came down to the reliability part
