Default Sunglasses too hot, any solution?

Anyone have this problem during the summer time? The sunglasses gets very hot after you park your car outside for couple hours.

I just put mine in their case in my glove compartment. If you leave them just sittin' around in your car, they'll definitely get hot.

i blast them in front of the ac for a few seconds... luckily mine are plastic so they don't burn my face. but i hope they don't warp either.

Im sure he is talking about leaving them in the sunglass holder above the mirror. Mine get hot too, and I just put them infront of the A/C for a little bit.

I have had this problem with any car that has a sunglass holder in the ceiling. Short of storing your sunglasses elsewhere, there is little you can do.

get a sunglasses holder that mounts to the sun visor. that why it's in the shade and unlike the glasses holder it doesn't have any direct contact with the metal roof.

I use one of these! Keep my glasses in there and they don't get hot!

I don't use the "sunglass holder" either. I use the sliding compartment that covers the cigarette lighter and ashtray - it's the perfect size for a pair of sunglasses.

Not completely cool...but a little cooler by leaving the sunglasses compartment door open.

My solution is to avoid wearing sunglasses altogether. I haven't owned a pair since 2000, when I left mine in a rental car at the Philadelphia airport.

i put my sunglasses in the center consol in a sleeve...and they are cool as can be...ive always wanted to put them in the sunglasses compartment, but have never had a pair that would fit........so currently it holds gum for everyday use...

another alternative is go get plastic frames
