Set it to #3 then wait for a few minutes. Put your hand between your legs and you will feel the cold air coming from your seat. Cold air but not A/C cold. Good enough for me though. And yes the BUTT warmer really works.

Yesterday I was driving back home after a long day at six flags and four screaming kids. My previous experience with ventilated seat was less than stellar. So I always have it at 0. But for the heck of it I turned it on to 3. And I could immediately feel that air was coming out right where I was sitting. I was pleasantly surprised. But it is not anything like real ac and after 5 minutes my butt got used to the added air and I could not feel it anymore.

But it is there and it does work...

Ventilated seats are not air conditioned seats. I think the fan is loud enough as it is, and doesn't need to be bigger.

I can feel a difference with the ventilated seats on and off.
