Default IS 200t Seats

I was wondering if anyone has ever thought about changing out their seats, not with recaros or any racing seat. Just a more comfortable seat with a wider back that doesn’t squeeze my lats into the seat. I’m not sure if a seat from a different model would still be able to keep the electric movement functions or not.

Your IS200T (F Sport) seats are some of the grandest seats the automotive world has seen. THEY ARE the seats you'd swap into a car. Best i've ever experienced. I just wish they had extended thigh supports.

If you want a modern seat with adjustable sides, I think the premium higher end cars have those. but those are super duper luxury seats. The new LS has inflatable sides i think.

My 2011 G37S has electronic adjustable sides and thighs as well as extendable thigh supports. It’s pretty crazy how manufacturers vary their “optional” equipment.

yeah the old BMW m5 from the 2000s had them too. i think even regular 5 series. But I used the word "modern" for a reason. For modern cars. modern seats are generally better built, more comfortable, and most importantly they are safety rated. The seats in your era G that you owned before are not good when it comes to safety. so therefore they don't count in my world.

The MK3 Supra seat is very darn good but also darn heavy. It's much more comfortable than the IS seats.
