Default Xtrem HIDs

Hey guys, so I might be ordering my xtreme HIDs from xenon depot hopefully tomorrow...just needed some feedback from the guys who have the xtremes...and what color output they liked best..i'm debating between the 4300k and the 5000k, the 6300k looks TOO purple to me.
H11 for the IS right?

H11 for the headlight.
Everything under 6000k will be white...

4300 is yellowish white
5000 is crisp white
6500 is bluish white.

H11 is correct

4300 will give you the brightest output. 5000 will give you some color and output. I would go with 5000 if I were you.

Just try it yourself man. Do some more searches on CL. I have seen several good DIY thread on installing them. Everything you need to know is on this website somewhere. All you have to do it save your money from the install guys and research a little.

i've got the 6500k and i'm happy w/ them... they aren't too purple... very white with a slight purplish tint to it... they are way brighter than i expected... brighter than my cousin's 1st gen IS300 and brighter than my bmw 3 series HIDs.... the only thing about aftermarket HID's is that you kinda lose the functionality of your auto headlights... you can still use them but you'd burn your bulbs real quick if you do... the good thing about these kits is that you can always take them out and put your factory bulbs back to normal since they dont require you to cut or splice any wires... its all plug and play... installed mine myself.... its pretty easy... took me about 3 hours....

i installed mine by myself. Really easy in my opinion. Took me about an hour to complete. Just do some research before you do the install.

pretty easy to install.....

check this thread out...this is what I followed when I installed a kit on a IS250.
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...light=muzzman1

I'd also recommend nothing higher than 5000K, light output will be significantly REDUCED.

i think the light output is less on the 8000k...
but the 8000k will definitely be a lot bluer than the 4300k

8000k more of a purple color. way less light output than 4300k. In my opinion, anything over 6000k is useless. Too much stress on the eyes. Also, have fun driving at night when its raining. But again, just my opinion
