Default Do you have mini Vacuum in your IS?

Just curious, how clean you IS owners keep your cars and with what...
Basically, I'm trying to keep my IS as clean as possible and I was thinking it would be easy to keep it clean if I carry vacuum cleaner in my car. Do you know any good brand?

oh yeah of course I carry one. I am not going to let that dirt sit there and settle in. Here is the one i got from Target and it works great.

Nah. I just have it vacuumed by someone else.

Between vacuumings, I sometimes just take out the mats and beat them to death on the pavement...

I have the Car accessories kit that attaches to my home vacuum. It's an expensive piece, but hey, I got it for free.

I have the Dewalt Heavy-Duty 2 Gallon Cordless or Corded Wet/Dry Vac in my trunk. Nice thing is it uses the exact same 18V batteries I have from the 18V Cordless 5-Tool Combo Kit. It also has cord for charging it or just using it from outlet(if battery is low).

I dont carry the vaccum, carwash soap, or other cleaning supplies in the car...that all stays at home. I do carry a couple spare towels just incase something spills.

Wow cordless 5-tool combi kit, you know the only tools you need to keep in your car is a vice grip and duct tape

I don't keep a vacuum in the car, but I keep the inside and the engine bay spotless. (don't care about the outside)

I use a Dyson and it does a great job. It the attachments that are so good. You guys will laugh at this, but I actually use the extension and fit it in between the engine and the radiator and vacuum those portions of the engine bay down there also. That area collects road sand, etc.

I have the gray with black carpet, so I have black bath towels folded up and molded to the foot wells with the Lexus mats over them. They catch all of the sand, dirt, etc. before it gets into the carpet nap.

My truck is a piece of ****, but the carpet looks brand new. People that have never seen it and get into it for the first time always ask, "Why in the world would you put brand new carpet into this piece of **** when it needs so much more!?"

Cheers,

Old Oiler

I have a portable cordless vacuum that's in the house for minor things. When i wash the car, i use the vacuum to clean up all the junk (which isn't a heck of alot since i'm the only one ever in the car)

i don't own a car vac. the powerful, most expensive vacuum cleaner is located down the street at the local carwash. i just go there once a week, with a paid car wash, you get free unlimited use of the vac. and it works very well.
