Question Did I mess up? Eibach pro-kit question

Hey all, finally got around to ordering Eibach springs for my non-sport 350 But should I have ordered the springs made for the 250 to get the beautiful drop everyone else is running? Or did I do the right thing by ordering the 350 springs? I'm so confused... Thanks in advance for any replies!

Yes you should of gotten the springs for the IS250. It is more and better of a drop then the IS350 IMO.

I'm still debating whether or not to go with LMS or Eibach springs.

Thanks for the reply gsrthomas... but does anyone know if weight was the reason for the 350 springs being less aggressive than the 250 springs? The people at Eibach must've had a reason behind this.

I also thought I read somewhere on the forum that the specs posted by Eibach were from a 350 with sport package, does that mean I can assume the front is actually a 1.5" drop on a non-sport?

But is the ride comprimised because of the spring rates are for a 250 and not the heavier 350? I understand it will look better but will it ride mushy or soft with more bounce. I know we are only talking a couple of hundred pounds but just wondering. Thanks

The difference btw the weight of the IS250 and the IS350 is 92 pounds. Going with IS250 springs will not change the way the IS350 drives, if anything it will drive better because of the more aggressive drop. Passenger weighs more than that.

IS350 curb weight: 3527
IS250 curb weight: 3435

I didn't know you could use the Eibach IS 250 springs on the IS 350!! What is the difference in drop between the two? I installed the IS 350 springs on my car...but I am planning on slapping on some 20's, so it's probably better that I went with the more conservative drop.

i seriously doubt that anyone would be able to tell the difference between the two.. we're talking probably around .25-.33 inch difference if you factor in the tolerance and settling.. therefore, i would much rather have the springs that were designed for your specific model by the manufacurer.. just my opinion

I totally agree... Most of the Eibach drops I've seen on here look more aggressive than the 1"/0.8" Eibach lists it as, so I guess I was just wondering if other members with the 350 were using the 250 springs.
