Once it's gone, make sure the headlight is sealed up good.

I don't think dust covers have anything to do with condensation... actually in the users manual in my dad's ES it says condensation is caused by the difference in the temperature between the inside and outside temps and that it was NORMAL at least in the ES. I didn't check my IS manual about headlight condensation.

i live where the temp. is very extreme. In the morning it could be 65 degrees but 107 in the afternoon. I think the condensation happens (and it only happened once to me) becasue of the temp issues. . I too dont have my covers on after my HID install. Who knows, my freinds GMC is brand new and has had to have his headlamp assembly replaced becasue of the same issue and his is sealed.

You have to dry it COMPLETELY. If not, you will get condensation problems again.

Blow dryer directly pointed at the area you see moisture. Dont worry if it gets extremly hot.

The housing, can stand about 2000F heat.

I got it fixed, but not replaced.

The cause was an unlocked lid that allows you to change bulbs. I just needed to evaporate the moisture under dry conditions, and as soon as the headlight was clear, I locked the lid once more. It hasn't done it again.

Which lid? Did you allow ALL of the condensation to be gone?

The lid that opens to the DRLs. Yeah, it took a couple of days of sitting under the sun, but it's all gone. Doesn't even mist up at all since I dried it...

Man!! I just discovered this problem today. I changed my park lights to LED 2 weeks ago. The driver side DRL/park light door was not installed correctly. My fault. Will do all the above suggestions to get rid of the moisture. I live in WA state its been raining crazy thats why I did not notice.

Go to the dealer and ask for a new pair on warranty replacement.
