A few days before I go to San Diego, I visit the dealer to have them look at some weird marks that are on my car. There I learn that it's a paint defect and I'll have to come back another time when the Sr. Managers aren't in the middle of a meeting. That's fine so I arrange to come back on the 30th which is when I am getting free Sirius installed.
Come back from San Diego and find a nice 4 inch scratch on my 3 week old rear passanger side door (I inspected it everytime after I got back to the car whether it was valet or lot). Suffice it to say, I'm not a happy camper. I get some ScratchX and apply it after giving the car a wash. It's still visible, but only at the right angle. I'm just going to get the dealer to fix it for me when I go in for the other paint problem.
Then tonight I'm at the driving range and discover that there are no more spaces in which to practice so I just decide to go home. When back at my car I hear a loud boom, turn to look at it and end up dinging my car with the bottom of the golf bag (stupid me I know). Now I have a small hole in the paint that is barely bigger than the ball in a ballpoint pen, but since I know it's there it's driving me crazy. I used some touchup paint and am going to have the dealer deal with that as well.
yep, i got pummled by rocks from a semi truck, chips on my roof, front bumper and of all places my right rear door...... thank god for insurance and thank god i have a 100.00 deductible.
God... sorry to hear all the bad crap happened to your car! I had one little bad thing happen. I walked up to my car today in the garage and noticed a one and half inch scuff that wouldnt rub out with my hand and a lot of pressure right by my door handle. Have no idea how it could have gotten there and I know it wasnt from me. Sure am glad I got that porter cable 7424 though. It looks like something some megs 80 and about 10 seconds with the PC will take care of!
