The IS350 resale is high because of low production numbers and high demand for the more powerful version.
For those who want an IS300, or for those who want higher IS350 production numbers, such resale figues will be significantly lower if such changes occur!!!

which is one of the reason i bought the 350 knowing the resell value will be much greater than the 250 down the road. the same thing happened with bmws 325 and 330 series.
48% is fantastic after 4 years. I would be interested in seeing the stats on the other cars, such as the 3-series, G35, etc.
Anybody have them for comparison?
While not aG35 I bought a 1991 Toyota MR2 Turbo new for $24500 and sold it in 2006 for $18500. If my math is correct the depreciated value was in excess of 75%! Not bad for a 15 year old car. It did not hurt that it was in showroom condition with only 56000 miles on it.

I'm thinking if i were to sell my car at only 48% of purchased price, i would be better off to keep it cos it would definiately be of higher value due to me looking after it.
