Unhappy help need info

hello everyone, when i brought my IS 350 it didn't come with HID , but i just talk to this performance shop and they told me that if i could find OEM HID headlight they'll installed it for me for cheap cause my friend hooked me up. i was wondering if anyone here know where i could find a OEM HID headlight? and has anyone here convert their IS non HID headlight to an HID headlight, is you have please share how you did it, how much, and is it as good as when they comes pre-installed??? thanks in advance

why don't you just get the HID conversion kit from XenonDepot.
The headlights are already projectors, so just get teh conversion.
They are 2 product lines that Xenondepot uses.
Well, hope this helps

Well he might be referring to AFS... So your head lights wont move, but yes the XD HIDs will look just like the stock ones or maybe even better.

I've seen some OEM HIDs on ebay. I believe it including the housing as well, but it was pretty expensive. doing the conversation would be cheaper. Im in the same boat as you. i have a IS250 non-HID. it would be nice if Lexus upgraded our lights for free.

HID projectors and Halogen projectors are different. He is right about the HID headlights looking better than the Halogen ones.

Here's a link for everything you pretty much need to know about bulbs, headlamps housings, HID conversions, and more. I think someone has posted this link but i'll just post it again just in case.

AFS = Adaptive Front Lighting System

The Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFS) helps illuminate more of the road in a turn. In a left-hand turn, the left headlamp will pivot up to 15 degrees (the right-hand headlamp remains pointed straight ahead) and in a right-hand turn, the right headlamp will pivot up to 5 degrees (the left-hand headlamp remains pointed straight ahead).

Xenon Depot has 2 lines

Xtreme: Uses asian components
XenonDepot: Uses all German Phillips components

Tell you the truth, if you saw a car with Xtreme pass you buy, and then one with XenonDepot, you couldn't even tell the difference.
If at a standstill, you would see maybe a little difference.

What you can do, is if you want both lows and fogs, get the XenonDepot for lows, and the xtreme line for fogs

Sure if you leave them on without the engine running.
