Default Just finished - Alpine aftermarket install - Now with photos!

Just picked up my IS350, I had the Alpine VPA-B222 Vehiclehub Pro, the 7" VGA Touchscreen monitor with bluetooth and 2 Total Mobile Audio (JL Audio) Amps - T320.4 to power the 12 factory speakers and the T250.1 for the factory subwoofer.

Sound is much more defined, clearer and louder than stock, the factory headunit runs thru the Vehiclehub Pro and I also have my iPod and phone with bluetooth currently on the hub. Going to add Sirius using the new Alpine interface this week as well as a backup camera.

Having some issues with the bluetooth monitor - works great with the phone, mic works well, the audio won't output thru the car's audio system it defaults thru the monitor's small speaker (which you can barely hear when driving) so we're working with Alpine to get that solved.

Vehiclehub is installed under the passenger seat, iPod in the glove compartment, both amps are mounted behind the seats in the trunk.

Eventually I'm going to upgrade the stock sub too just trying to decide what to do.

I'll get photos in a few.

George

And the pictures!

Without flash:

The Amps:

Screen is a bit close when in park but its mounted to be height adjustable so I can bring it high enough so that the gearshift isn't in the way. And I have the steering wheel controls hooked up to the Vehiclehub Pro via a PAC interface.

Would you have to clean them if you had black leather ??
I guess I should ask if you feel the gray "looks" dirtier quicker ??

I have the gray leather, and it seems to look cleaner longer than the beige leather in our other car or the black leather I had in a previous car. Black shows dust and dirt pretty easily.

I know black is the popular color for this car (inside and out), but SGM with Stirling really is a nice combination.

Sorry to thread hijack...the install looks very clean! I would probably use the higher screen setting most of the time, just to minimize looking down while driving.

Clean install, though I am slightly confused. Does it just cover the OEM stereo stuff? Does it slide down or out or anything?

Thats the location, the stock headunit is just a space holder now, the only thing I'd ever use it for is the CD changer.
