That is just the bulbs. You will need the ballast too.

i have Mtechs, i like them... however i had to replace the connectors and wire harness because they were not very tight, but the output is nice and does not have alot of hotspots.

The best aftermarket HID Kit will be compiled of at least OEM Ballast and aftermarket/oem bulbs .

Pivo,

Do you know how to use a light tester?

Do you have general knowledge of aftermarket car stereo installation?

If you want the best bang for the buck, I would go with the McCulloch HID Kit. Those run about $250.00.

For about the same price, you can get pretty much the same kit but branded by XenonDepot Xtreme Kits.

I have compared the XenonDepot Xtreme Kits and the McCulloch kits and I'd must say, those kits are nearly identical just except the Label.

The Ballast Design, Housing Color, Connections, Relay Kit, Bulbs, and Misc Parts are pretty much the same.

Anyway, McCulloch or XenonDepot Xtreme Kits are the best way to go in terms of price and quality.

Of course if you want something better in quality, be ready to pay more $$$.

I bought XenonDepots Xtreme Kit and I couldn't be happier. There was a some pin connector issues but nothing major. The output is great and its $225. Can't be beat.

There are differences between the Xtreme kit and the Mcculloch kit.

Xtreme kits are currently on sale for $224.99.

If you want the best bang for the buck. I got a solution for you. I just finish installing hid headlights and foglights for a friend. He bought both kits for $250. I am amazed at how good the output is compare to my stock is350 hid. I paid nearly $650 for my GX470 kits and the light output looks the same as my friend. Check this out ... his HID kit comes with 3 years warranty too.

The price some of these vendor charge, you can buy mulitple $100.00 HID kits from Ebay. Most of them are made by the same manufacture with a different label for marketing. People are buying the home page write-up, not the product.
Don't believe me? Open a poll on where everyone's HID kit are made it. China will win!

I brought a set from Ebay for $103.00 to my door from China and it works like a charm. Fires up everytime. No flicker, no outage, no left eye. If it goes out, I'll buy another set and it will still be cheaper.

Consider yourself lucky.

Dont get me wrong at all, not all products that come from China are bad (thats not the case at all). There are quality products out there. The problem is finding them as there are so many produts that are not made to par. A lot of the time resellers purchase these products knowingly as many times they will be told which products are better (more expensive) and which are of inferior quality (cheaper).

$103 x several times + the cost and aggravation of removing/installing product in my opinion does not come out cheaper.
