Are you freaking kidding me? So I guess you don't care what your wheels look like? Or maybe even what color your car is? Or what the body looks like?

No you're not wrong. Mercedes you can turn off and on as you wish. BMWs anywhere else in the world you can turn them on and off as you wish except for North America because of Canada... Cars shipped to the US and Canada I guess uses the same software load so we cant disable them ourselves but the dealer will do it with no questions asked. I SERIOUSLY dont know why Lexus is such a pain in the @$$ about stupid crap like this.

No we dont expect them to do anything... but simple things like DRLs should be done. Its customer preference, its not against the law. So why not?

they service guy said they couldn't but I said that is BS. but when I got the car back the paper work listed it as being done and they are now turned off. I dont' know if the service guy didn't know or what but I didn't question why they are turned off. So I am good.

Disabling the DRL is a safety hazard, no responsible Lexus service technician should have done it..

and some of you guys are complaining saying Lexus has bad customer service... what a load of crap!

I ask dealership to do something they are supposed to do if I want it + they dont do it = bad customer service (IMO).

wow... sorry man. but its not our fault that we actually have the option here in the states to turn ours off. for you its a law, for most of us here in the states it an option, so we should have the right to do what we want when it comes to our DRLs.

Again, some of you are ignoring the obvious, i.e., the potential liability to the dealership for disabling a safety device. It has little to do with bad customer service but more with saving their ***.
