Javy's Gram Lights 57s-Pro's
So I've been trying to decide on wheels forever. I wanted 1) something Japanese, 2) something in 18's, because I didn't want to degrade my ride quality too much by going low profile, and 3) something light.
So here they are - work in progress pics of my new shoes. They're Gram Lights 57s-Pro's, made by Rays Engineering.
Specs:
Front - 18x8.5, +33 offset. Weight: 23 lbs.
Rear - 18x9.0, +33 offset. Weight: 23 lbs.
Not TPMS compatible - didn't really care, although I might get them drilled.
I'm still waiting on my Rays center caps and blue lug nuts (which I think will bring out the blue in my paint as well as the blue decal on the spokes). I love how easy they are to clean - a quick wipe of the polished lip and they look perfect! Hooray for gunmetal... Anyway, on to the pics! The background should make all you USC fans out there happy...

Javier, looks awesome!
So that's why you were selling your spacers. I love gunmetal for that same reason you mentioned.
Also I got blue lugnuts, and I really think they go along with GFM, and I think if you bought the Rays or Works lugnuts, it would save you a lot of money than painting them. And like you said, you can NEVER get tired of GFM threads.
What kind of tires did you go with, they look like the ES100's and what are the specs?
And those Ray's Valvestem caps... You should tighten them more, some bastard jacked mine awhile back.

Those REALLY do look great, especially with the Glacier Frost White!
Great choice, man!
I notice you have Texas plates, but your signature is Pasadena, CA. Did you just move to CA from TX?
Cheers,
Old Oiler

I've had my eye on those too!
Brand, Quality, Looks, and Specs for a good price. Definitely best bang for the buck.
Regarding drilling the TPMS, I am interested as well. I've seen some drill the TPMS from the opposite side of the wheel's manufactured valve stem.
Do you know if adding TPMS will add significant weight where it must be balanced with tire weights?

Thanks for the compliments, everyone!
Thanks for the tips, Alex!
It's a long story... But yes, I did recently move from TX to CA...
Which LA? Los Angeles or Louisiana? Anyway, I'm in Los Angeles now (Pasadena to be exact - check out the first picture...)
I've heard they should be mounted opposite the wheel's valve stem, too - although I need to double check that.
Thanks James - I actually lost more than that... The stock lug nuts + locks weigh a combined 3.5 lbs, and the ones I'm currently using wiegh 2. The Rays lug nuts I'm waiting on weigh a little over 1 lb. The spacers I was running weigh another 6. So removing the spacers saved me 6 lbs, swapping lugs will save me another 2.5, and the wheels drop another 14, for a grand total of 22.5 lbs or rotational weight!!! Oh, and I'm running Yokohama AVS ES 100's - 225/40/18 front, 255/35/18 rear, although I plan on swapping the rears to 265/35/18 soon.
