Default Neat Feature

Neat feature that found out today: when the moon-roof is completely closed, press on the rotatable dial (rather than rotating it) and it will open all the way
Be nice now ^_^. sorry if this has been covered earlier or mentioned in the manuals. I am sure that I'm not the only one who doesn't read all the manuals and I am also sure that not everyone knew about this feature...

But to close the roof, you would turn the dial to open and then turn again to close right?

No, just press it again and it closes. I think you guys would find a WORLD of information in the owner's manual. It's well worth the read.

I didn't know that about the moonroof. I grabbed the manual yesterday to read but got sidetracked.

No it doesn't and i'm confused by that. Why does the dial open it a smidge more?

From what I've been told (and read here), pressing the dial opens it to a pre-programmed position that's as open as possible while still minimizing wind coming in the car. Apparently opening it all the way is "too much", in the opinion of whomever programmed that feature.

I often forget what i read, this could be one of those things

Come to think of it, I don't really like the dialing method of opening the roof. Instead of stopping at a predefined location, it should be allowed to be stopped at any point.

That's right. I like it open all the way. That inch makes a big difference.
