Thumbs down

I think the biggest joke of all is Lexus using plastic paddles, when Mazda and all these other econo makes now are using METAL paddles.

Correct me if I'm wrong anyone, but if I'm not, come on Lexus! Can't we at least have "magnesium" paddles too?

Just because you have a 300HP car, doesn't mean you're suppose to drive it like an idiot all the time.

Hoever, I think S mode is more of a gimmick than anything else. I don't know of anyone who uses it all the time. I use it once in a while for peppy acceleration, but nonetheless, it's only a gimmick...

I use it all the time when i drive my 350!!

Well that’s just an idiotic statement. You fundamentally broke just about every auto enthusiast rule with that statement. Basically single handedly saying that anyone who enjoys their ride and pushes it is driving it like an idiot (of course, its almost a given if you are 18 in a supped up Intergra with a fart can exhaust). Ridiculous.

You don’t buy a 300 hp car to be Purdy. If you do, then you are hairdresser.

aka... you bought the car to look purdy in it.

do you guys who use S mode all the time worry about putting stress and potential future issues into your trannies? I constantly worry about that when i'm in a spirited mood driving in S mode. I don't want a busted tranny at 100k miles because i was a dumbass with S mode.

Short answer is no. It is what it is from Toyco, and that's all there is to it.

I never worry about breaking stuff. I'll just fix it.

WERD! Also when I stop at a light I put it in first because it shifts into second wayyyy to soon overall its a great transmission minus the S-mode.
