ok damn, i didn't really want to wear their helmet w/ a bunch of people's sweat. I was going to use my friend's helmet.
From what I've seen you can get a DOT approved helmet fairly cheap at Walmart. BTW.. MIR is having test and tune today. You should go give it another try.
I didn't do that when I ran my IS at the track. Deflated the rears to 28 psi, took out the spare tire, and had over a 1/4 tank of gas ran a 13.64 @ 101 with a 2.05 60ft.

Inflating the front tires helps reduce rolling resistance. Don't over inflate, but pump them up to Max psi for the tire. I've done it every time, just make sure you bring the psi back to recommended when heading home.
THOLE..no you dont' need to change tranny fluids. As for engine oil, that needs to be changed every 5000 miles...and sooner if you drive it hard.
What does it save a 100th of a second to inflate the fronts?
I don't have any controlled comparisons, but the few times I ran with stock front tire pressures, my trap speed was 1 to 1.5mph less each time. Theoretically this works.
